In our homes, loving the children we care for is more than just a legal duty. We do this because every child deserves to be loved, irrespective of where they live. We do this because transforming ‘care’ into ‘loving care’ can transform a child's life and enable them to reach their full potential.

We understand that other professionals may be hesitant to take a loving care approach to children. Through experience we are aware that children in children's homes miss out on the human right and need to be loved as a result of these problems.  Through our approach we  understand that reducing danger is more important than reducing love.

Our Adult teams develop empathic connections with the children they care for through unconditional positive regard, respect and active listening, providing the vital, but often unavailable, avenues of communication to children in our homes.

Each child we care for comes to us with a unique set of abilities and goals, and each begins his or her journey at a different stage.

Consequently, each child's placement is specially tailored to meet his or her needs and is closely monitored throughout their stay with us to ensure that it remains accurate and relevant throughout. A key component of our placement planning is participation and we encourage and support children to take an active part in decision making.

Safe Haven Adolescent Care Group Ltd provides specialist solo homes to children who are unable to live with their own families.
