Title: Therapeutic Leader

Responsible to: Senior Management Team / Registered Manager

About the Company - Safe Haven Adolescent Care Group is an Ofsted Registered company that provides loving homes for children who cannot live with their families. The company has 3 homes who care for only one child at a time. Two of the homes are rated 'GOOD' and 'OUTSTANDING' with Ofsted. The third home is awaiting to open and we are on the lookout for Outstanding new members to join our passionate and motivated team.

About the Home – This home’s purpose is to make supportive, comforting and happy homes for Children who have experienced trauma, neglect or abuse. Their homes allow the children a place where they can feel loved and listened to, so that they can open up about their issues and find ways to move on and live happy fulfilled lives.

About the Role – We require leaders in the home who can support our Therapeutic Carers in the best way possible. As a Leader you will be part of the Management team and the role would be suited to someone who has experience as a Deputy or Senior or would experience in Children's homes and wanting to progress. We need adults who are caring and nurturing. Adults will need to be resilient and patient as the role can at times be difficult and you may be faced with some challenges. You must proactively strive to create a safe environment where the children feel heard and cared for. As a growing company, there will be many opportunities for progression within Safe Haven to various roles including Management. Progression also includes the opportunity to gain qualifications in both Level 4 Diplomas and Level 5 Leadership and Management.

Role Requirements -

Essential - Good general education including numeracy & literacy skills. Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and complete required training.

Desirable - NVQ Level 3 or 4 Caring for Children and Young People / Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.

Shift Patterns & Pay Scales

Full Time Roles vary, including but not limited to the following examples:

2 on 2 off - 48 hour shifts including sleeps - up to 42k per year

2 on 3/4 off including sleeps - up to 30k per year

Other Roles Available - Therapeutic Carers, Bank Carers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £42,000.00 per year
